I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to The Waukegan Park District and the City of Waukegan for hosting the 26th Annual Waukegan Polar Bear Plunge, an incredible event where all proceeds from the fundraiser will empower Special Recreation Services of Northern Lake County in Waukegan, enabling individuals with disabilities to participate in transformative camps, athletics, health and fitness programs, and more.#Waukeganproud!

WAUKEGAN, ILLINOIS. Samantha and I uplifted our morning by stopping in for breakfast at Avocado Express. I empowered my day with an order of guacamole and chips and Samantha elevated her morning with a Mali Chicken Wrap.

WAUKEGAN, ILLINOIS. I always remembered the Ortiz Store at the Belvidere Mall from an early childhood. Seeing all candy from Mexico and Central American countries always enticed me as a little kid. It wasn't until recently that I learned that their elote or corn is the best in Lake County, Illinois.
